Hi, my name is Nat

and I spend some of my free time tinkering. I made this site to have a place document projects I’ve worked on and thoughts I have, and to share them with whoever finds them interesting. If you see something cool - take it, or ask me about it! Also, I don’t know everything, but I like learning, so if you find a mistake in my code, or know how to design something more effectively drop a comment or reach out - I like getting better.

I grew up in Connecticut and graduated from Northeastern University in 2020 with BS in Mechanical Engineering. Since graduating I’ve worked as a mechanical designer, working on things like high performance 3D printers at Markforged and high volume consumer devices at aerflo. I’m currently based in Brooklyn, NY.

I’ve always been captured by the intersection of engineering and art. While I’m a mechanical engineer professionally, my personal projects mainly focus on at home IoT automation. I love blending electromechanical lines to automate parts of my life in new and interesting ways. When I’m not making boards smoke, I’m flying planes, gardening, or riding my bike.
